Sometimes it becomes critical for you to know your strengths and abilities and then you are unable to choose your proper career path. But if you choose your right path you can be satisfied and motivational. In teenage you have to choose your subjects in the 11 or 12 standard.

There are a lot of adults who feel dissatisfied at their work places and are not satisfied with life the reason behind this may be a wrong career path because they were unable to choose a right path because of the lack of career guidance by their parents or teachers. Career guidance is to help you to choose your right direction and it depends on many factors.

First of all you should know your particulars strengths or characteristics. You should know that who are you? What are your strengths? First you should look at your values that what you want from your job just money or any other thing like satisfaction, independence, creativity etc.

The next thing is personality you should know who are you as an individual? Are you an introvert or extravert in your personality? Because some people are extravert in their personality and some people are introvert in their personality. Extravert people tend to enjoy human interactions because they are enthusiastic, talkative and gregarious. They take pleasure in activities that involve large social gatherings, such as parties, community activities, public demonstrations, and business or political groups.

Politics, teaching, sales, managing and brokering are fields that favor extra version and the introvert people tend to be more reserved and less outspoken in groups. They often take pleasure in solitary activities such as reading, writing, using computers and writer, engineer, composer, and inventor are all highly introverted. But some people owe the mixture of these traits. It is seen that some percentage of population is introvert and some of the people are extravert. So it is very important to know about you personality.

The other thing is your interests. You know that what you like and what you dislike? If you like something then you can do well in it. It means that, are you interested in helping professions and providing service? Are you interested in math? Are you interested in science and technical engineering subjects? Are you interested in nature or entertainment?

So you need to find out your fields of interests. You need to find out your working abilities. If you know these facts then ultimately you have known your strengths or talents then you would be able to find out the jobs that fit in your field of interests. All this can happen if you enhance your abilities.

These interests include your subjects. You should know that in which subject you can give your best. For example if you are studying physics but you like English literature then you cannot succeed in that field whether you get as much higher education because physics is not your cup of tea.

So you should choose your field of interest perhaps you were a famous writer if you could have chosen English literature but now you are not satisfied with your job. This is what the aim of career guidance because career guidance provides you the job satisfaction and a real sense of achievement and confidence.
